It is with sad hearts we share the news that Lewis, one of ACDR’s alumni passed away unexpectedly yesterday.  He was adopted by his furever parents, Laurie & Craig, on Nov 16, 2013 when he was only 2 years old.  With permission we are sharing their heartfelt tribute…

Lewis adored his Papa most, and loved his Momma and his Sister too. He loved the greenhouse as well……rifling as much Kale and yellow beans as he could. He would also bunt the tomato stalks and when the ripe one fell he’d grab it and go off and eat it. He loved the apples that fell off the tree. We couldn’t let him eat the seeds. It was a race to get them away from him to remove the seeds for him. He thought he was a Doberman, and he’d challenge any big dog. We never ever left him alone…if our wieners couldn’t go we didn’t go. He will be forever missed…he was a beautiful boy and such a good boy. We’ll meet you at the Rainbow Bridge one day. We will always love you. 😢💔
